Year 4: The week ahead

I hope that you are all having a lovely weekend.

Next week in school we will be converting weight from grams to kilograms. We will also be planning, drafting and editing an explanation to explain the reasons for Henry VIII having six wives. We will be using all of the research and information that you have learned over the past couple of weeks to do this. In science we will be thinking about The Mad Hatters Tea party and planning our own health menus. We will be making the basic structures for our chairs on Friday and in literacy we will be doing some descriptive writing.

PE will now return to a Wednesday. Thank you so much for being so flexible with the changes of days over the past few weeks and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Prayer Stations- On Wednesday morning this week we will be visiting the prayer stations in the hall.

Eisteddfod entries- We had a lovely whole school Zoom on Friday and the children found out who had won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for their art entries. These will be awarded next week and all pupils will bring their entries home for you to see.

Spring is certainly in the air this weekend so enjoy what is left of today’s sunshine and we will see you tomorrow ready for another fun filled week of learning.
