Year 4: Important Info linked to our Class Assembly!

This week pupils have been practising for their ‘Children-in-Need’ themed class assembly next Friday. We are all VERY excited.

On Monday pupils will be given their lines to learn. Each child will have at least one line to say. Please do not worry about this in the meantime.

Towards the end of the assembly pupils will be singing a song by Gareth Malone called ‘Wake me up’. The majority of the song will be sung by every child with just a few solo parts. If you would like to learn the words they are widely available on the internet to look at, including the backing track so they know when to join in.

Pupils’ homework this week is to complete activities linked to Children in Need ready for ‘Children in Need’ day this Friday. As a class we have discussed different things they could do, from acrostic poems to pictures of Pudsey. When they have finished these please bring the work in by Wednesday at the latest. The work will then be put on a Powerpoint and be shown during our class assembly on Friday.
