Year 4: Coming up next week

The pupils have worked extremely hard this week and we are looking forward to an afternoon of craft activities to remind us of the importance of our value Thankfulness (photos to follow this afternoon).

Next week we will be recapping our three times tales and the related division facts. We will then be using them to help us with our six times tables and related division facts.

We will continue to read Narnia and then carry out some research about one of the creatures that the four children meet (can you guess what the animal is from the picture below).

We will continue to compare life for children living in Chembakolli to the lives that we lead in Ruabon.

We will also be using our skills and knowledge to design a house with a monsoon proof roof!

We will finish off the week by sewing the coats that we have designed to keep the children dry in Narnia.

PE will be on Wednesday as usual, we will be finishing off our lessons on Cricket. The pupils have enjoyed cricket this half term and they have become really skilled when batting to a target.

Our worship theme for next week is Harvest. Keep an eye on our Google Classroom on Friday next week for a special Harvest performance.

Homework this week will come home today, it consists of a maths sheet based on the concepts we have been learning about this week. Reading books are also coming home today.

Have a lovely weekend!
