Year 3: The week ahead

Da iawn pawb for another great week of learning. Next week will be our final week of this half term and we have lots planned!
Next week, we will celebrate Pentecost. This will be our focus for class worship where we will listen to the story of Pentecost, look at symbols of peace and think about how to be peaceful. On Monday, we will be visiting the Prayer Stations that have been set up by our super Criw Addoli.
We will hear the story of ‘Dragonory’ and write exciting descriptions of a dragon.
In Maths, we will use partitioning to add pairs of 2-digit numbers. We will also recap our time-telling skills in Welsh, where we will label analogue clocks to show the correct times.
We will use the designs we have created and our sewing skills to make purses for Boudicca.
As reading books have come home today, you may want to keep them until Tuesday on this occasion. If you are finished with them by Monday that is fine. Any books returned on Tuesday will then be sent home Friday of next week and will not need to be returned until the Monday after half term. You will need to wear PE kit on Tuesday. Homework is on Google Classroom and is a Maths activity on multiplying and dividing by 10.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
