Year 3: The Week ahead

Well done to all pupils of Blwyddyn 3 for working so hard this week. We have been really impressed with your descriptive writing and perseverance with your sewing skills!
Next week will be Olympic Week! We have lots of fun activities planned.
We will be taking part in a sports activity every day next week, so please remember to wear suitable clothing (like PE kit) every day – no uniform is needed next week. Please also make sure you have a water bottle that you can fill up too.
We will launch our week and have an opening ceremony on Monday. This is where you will find out the country that our class will represent! Here is a little clue –
We will listen to the national anthem, make T-shirts and Olympic torches. We will watch a closing ceremony to find ideas, ready for having our very own closing ceremony on Friday. We will discuss what we will need for our closing ceremony and how we can make it a special event.
We will be doing other Olympic based activities, as well as tasks to find out more about the country we will represent – please check our website throughout the week to see what we have been doing.
Homework is on Google classroom – please tell us what you already know about the Olympics. Don’t worry if it is not very much, as we will all be finding out more next week.
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend!
