Year 3: Return to school

We will be welcoming you all back to school on Monday! We can’t wait to see you all. I am sure that you have already read the letter on our school website which explains everything you need to know about your return to school, however, here are a few reminders for you:
For the time being, you do not need to wear full school uniform, but you can if you want to. If not, please make sure that you are wearing clothes that are sensible and will keep you warm. Keep items of clothing labelled where possible, especially items like jackets or jumpers that may be removed throughout the day. Make sure that what you wear on Tuesday is suitable for an outdoor PE lesson too 👟
Remember to bring a freshly filled water bottle each day, as well as a healthy snack. Where possible, please only bring snacks and packed lunch items that you are able to open yourself. Please label water bottles and snack pots with your name. 🍎
If you have done any of the work set on Google Classroom on paper during remote learning, please bring this to school in a folder or bag (labelled with your name) on Monday. If you have a school reading book at home from before Christmas, please bring this in on Monday too. We will go back to sending reading books on a Thursday and having them back in on a Monday. This allows the necessary 72hours in between changing books. 📚
Please refrain from bringing in any other items from home. All writing equipment etc. will be provided in school.
We will enjoy spending time catching up with you all next week! We will also continue to learn about the Celts, finding out more about roundhouses and even making some of our own.
We would like to say another huge BENDIGEDIG to all of you that have worked so hard during these past weeks. It has been a strange time for everyone and we are so proud of how you have all coped and continued to learn. A big DIOLCH to all of your grown ups who have helped you so much too. We truly appreciate all of your support.
We hope that you have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
Mrs Burgess, Miss Powell and Mr Kuiper.
