Well done again for the fantastic work you are all doing so far. We are very proud of your efforts. We are now welcoming in a new month and are ready to carry on learning! Please remember to just keep trying your best.
This week is Prayer Week and so there will be ideas, thoughts and prayers put on our Google Classroom Stream each day, in addition to the usual work that is set. Thursday is Values Day, with our focus being the Christian value of Compassion. There will be a special task set, about compassion, on this day.
This week in Maths, we will be revising our number bonds to 100, including those which are multiples of 5. We will also be adding and subtracting using number bonds, doubles and pattens.
Our phonic focus will be a recap of previous digraphs (a-e, i-e and o-e) and we will be using words with these digraphs to create simile sentences.
For our topic of ‘Our local area in Wales,’ we will look at the difference between a physical and human feature and look at examples from our local area. We will also compare Ruabon then to Ruabon now, looking at how our local area has changed over the years.
We will learn more about our skeletons, learning the names of some of the bones and creating our own skeletons out of objects we might find outdoors.
We will recap numbers in Welsh and begin to learn numbers all the way up to 100!
Please remember to send a private comment if you are stuck with any of the tasks. We look forward to this prayerful week and seeing more of your wonderful work.
