Year 3: Marking out a Celtic Roundhouse

Today in maths two groups went outside and, continuing with the theme of learning about the Celts and in particular roundhouses, pupils were tasked with estimating and measuring out a roundhouse with a 5 meter diameter (typical size). Pupils really enjoyed it and learned a lot from the activity.
Tomorrow the other two groups will do this activity while the remaining pupils have time in the areas.
