Year 3: Library Books Drop Off, Hillfort Visit Rearranged

I’ve mentioned to the children a few times, but thought I’d put it on here that our weekly library visits have come to an end (the one on the Wednesday before half-term was the last one). The children responded really well to the visits and their behaviour was always great.
It would be lovely to see pupils continue returning/ taking new books back from Ruabon Library. That said, if there are any children who have books out and they are unable to return them please bring them into school tomorrow and I will happily return them myself after school.
On a separate note, I am really sorry we were unable to go on our hillfort visit this afternoon. It rained heavily in the morning was due to rain again from 1pm, however the main reason for not going was the roundworks by Ysgol Rhiwabon and any problems this could cause with pedestrian access. This has been arranged to next Wednesday.  To clarify I’d advise pupils to wear comfortable trainers with it being a long walk and clothes they don’t mind potentially getting muddy such as tracksuit bottoms, top and a jacket incase it’s cold.
Thanks and have a lovely evening 🙂
