Year 3: Homework and the week ahead

We have come to the end of another great week.
Homework this week is to write some sentences about food safety and hygiene (washing hands and surfaces, storing foods correctly, being careful with sharp utensils etc.) Remember that sentences should begin with a capital letter and end with a full stop.
Pupils have been encouraged to speak to grown ups at home for ideas. This can be done on paper, but can also be found on Google Classroom under ‘Homework’ if pupils would prefer to do it this way.
The week ahead
As we move into the month of December this week, things will become a little more festive in class! Please keep an eye on the website for updates.
We will read ‘Y Blwch Hud’ again and complete a book review, showing our opinions of the story.
We will identify different types of teeth and learn what their functions are.
In Maths, we will be adding amounts of money and finding the total cost of items.
We will encounter the ‘Mugglewump’ monkeys in ‘The Twits’ and carry out research about monkeys that we will later use to write reports.
We will begin to look at different Christian festivals, with our focus over the coming weeks being Advent and Christmas.
Please come dressed for PE on Tuesday as normal, but also remember that you can come dressed in a Christmas jumper/festive clothing on Friday.
Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to another week of learning and fun!
