Year 3: Da iawn!

Da iawn to all pupils of Blwyddyn 3 for another great week of learning. You have all behaved so well and worked so hard – keep it up!
You have 2 Maths activities for homework this week. You need to name the 3d shapes – write the shape names on the squared paper at the bottom of the sheet. You also have a time activity – draw the hands on the clocks to show the correct time. REMEMBER, one hand should be longer and one should be shorter! You have until next Friday to bring these in.
Next week, we will be doing lots more! We will be looking at features of instructions, finding time connectives and bossy verbs, ready for writing our own instructions – ‘How to play a trick on Mr Twit!’
In Maths, we will be ordering and comparing 2-digit numbers, placing them on number lines and using “crocodile mouths” < and > to show which is greater/smaller.
We will revise weather vocabulary in welsh and listen to the story of Joseph from the Bible. We will retell the story using role play.
We will put our thinking caps on to design a healthy sandwich, thinking back to the Eatwell plate that we looked at last week. We will listen to the song ‘Food, glorious food!’ and create an accompaniment using body percussion. PE will be on Tuesday again, so please remember to come to school dressed in your outdoor kit on this day.
We wish you all a lovely weekend! See you all next week.
