Pupils have had a lovely week.
It started off great with a trip to the fairytale cafe (a lovely start to our new topic!) and since then we’ve been looking at features of fairytales. Today we also went on the ‘Great Character Hunt!’ The aim was to develop pupils’ character descriptions within their stories. They had lots of fun completing the activities, some of which involved standing up and working as a team, e.g. to resemble objects from well-known fairytales.
Next week we will continue doing work on fairytales. In maths we’ll also be recapping placing numbers on a number line.
