Year 3: A fantastic first week!

A big DA IAWN to all pupils of Year 3. You have settled in so well to your new class and you have worked really hard this week. There is no homework for you this week – just try to have a nice weekend and a rest, ready for another fun week of learning!
Here are just some of the things that we will be doing next week:
We will be describing characters from ‘The Twits’ using adjectives and exciting sentences. In Maths, we will be using number bonds to find change from £10 and £20 and we will also be adding to the next ten.
For our topic, ‘Food, glorious food!’ we will be sorting foods into food groups and creating a balanced plate of food too. We will listen to the story of ‘Jonah and the Whale’ and write some Autumn prayers for our class Worship Tree.
A reminder that you will need to be dressed in your outdoor PE kit when you come to school on Tuesday and you will stay in kit all day (no need for uniform on that day).
Have a great weekend!
