This week has been so busy! On Monday we launched our new topic ‘The Great Fire of London’. We found some cheese, wine and notes buried in Muddy Monday, we wonder what they could mean?
On Wednesday we celebrated St David’s Day. We performed our poem in our school Eisteddfod (and did a brilliant job of it!). We sketched real life daffodils for our competition and created some beautiful drawings!
Today, we have celebrated World Book Day! The children all looked amazing and we could see alot of effort has gone into costumes so thank you. The children have completed a book hunt where they had to find different things such as a book with an animal in it, a fairytale book and even a book in another language! We have had fun making book marks and designing our own book covers too.
Next week we will be looking into what caused The Great Fire of London. We will be creating timelines showing what happened each day of the fire. We will also be looking at how things have changed since then.
Please remember wellies and book bags on Monday.
Have a lovely weekend
