We have had a lovely week learning about Diwali and Remembrance Day. We listened to the story of Rama and Sita and we have been trying to make our own rangoli patterns. In maths, we have been continuing with our partitioning of tens and ones. If you would like to continue this then please feel free to play the place value basketball game on TopMark’s.
Next week we will be continuing with some Remembrance Sunday activities, and we will be looking at Anti-Bullying Week too. We will be trying to think of other people’s feelings and how our actions may hurt them.
If you have a spare few minutes over the weekend to practise some letter formation that would be great as we are trying our best to neaten up our super writing.
Please remember to come to school dressed appropriately for Muddy Monday ( old, warm clothes, wellies and waterproofs/all in ones if you wish). Now the weather has changed the children are getting quite muddy, if you would like to send spare clothes in with your child to change into AFTER muddy Monday that is fine. Finally, please remember your book bags on Monday too.
Have a lovely weekend and thank you for all your hard work this week Year 2!
