This week the children have worked incredibly hard! They wrote brilliant diary entries imagining they were at The Great Fire of London. The content they came up with was great. In maths the children have been counting in 2s. 5s and 10s and they have started to look at them written as multiplication sums (5×2=10). They have taken to this well and we have even had some doing extra maths in the areas! In music, the children performed the song Here in Pudding Lane with musical instruments.
Also, we celebrated our Values Day yesterday and you can now watch our performances of The Unforgiving Servant on our Google Classroom.
Next week, the children will be working together to create a human chain to carry buckets of water to help extinguish the fire we will draw on the yard! We will be looking at how fighting fires has changed from 1666 to the present day. We will also be working hard on our class assembly.
Have a lovely weekend and please remember wellies and book bags on Monday
