We have retold the story of Mary and Joseph. The children enjoyed matching up the characters from the story to who plays them in our Christmas Concert! We have looked at electricity and identified things that need electricity to work and things that do not. We will continue this next week by sorting objects into those that need batteries and those that use the mains. The children have also enjoyed creating their own salt dough diya lamps. They measured out the ingredients and followed the instructions to make them.

Next week, we will be painting our Diya pots with the patterns that we put in our designs. We will be looking at number bonds in our maths work and trying to recall them quickly. We will also be having our dress rehearsal for our concert which we are excited to show!
Some children have come home today with a letter reminding you of what they need for their concert costumes, we would really appreciate it if these items could be sent in on Monday 12th December please.
Reminders for next week:
There is no more Muddy Monday until after the Christmas break.
Please bring your book bags on Monday.
Have a lovely weekend, stay wrapped up and warm!
