We have had a lovely first week in Year 2. We have settled into our new classroom and routines well. The children have worked incredibly hard too, we were so impressed. Next week we will be launching our topic for this term. We will be looking at sentence writing and practising our numbers within 100.
A few reminders for next week:
Muddy Monday – the children will be having Muddy Monday so please can they come to school dressed suitably in old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and bring in their wellies too (please make sure they are labelled with the children’s names to avoid any mix-ups)
Wednesday – the children will be having PE, please come to school dressed in PE kits with suitable footwear.
Daily – please make sure children bring in their water bottles and a snack for break time. Also, if your child is having school dinner, please make sure you order it on ParentPay beforehand.
