This week we have continued working hard on our minibeast topic. We have built bug hotels in Muddy Monday for the minibeasts that live up in our forest school. We have identified the characteristics of living and non-living things. We also used the iPad to paint pictures and use our Welsh vocabulary for dw i’n hoffi and dw i’n ddim yn hoffi. In maths, we have started to look at halves and quarters and the children have worked really hard on this because it has been quite tricky at times!
Next week, we will be sketching minibeasts in expressive arts, we will be comparing minibeasts in Wales to some that may be found in Australia. We will also be using jit5 on HWB to code a butterfly to visit a flower.
