This week we will have one day of remote learning before welcoming you all back to school tomorrow! Today Mrs Hughes has some lovely St David’s day activities planned for you on Google Classroom, then tomorrow you will continue learning about St David in School!!
We can’t wait to see you all back in school this week. Here are a few reminders for the week ahead;
👕 you do not need to wear uniform but please make sure that your wear clothes that are warm and suitable for school. Please also label all jumpers and cardigans. We will be spending as much time as possible outside so please make sure that you have clothing suitable for the weather.  💧You will need to bring in a filled water bottle each day. You will be able to fill these up in school throughout the day if needed. Please only put water in your bottles, I know that a few of you have been bringing in squash to drink throughout the day. However as a healthy school water is the only drink permitted throughout the day (other than with your packed lunch). Milk is available at break time as an alternative to water.  🍓Remember to bring in a healthy snack each day. Please make sure these are labelled or in a named pot. Please try to send in snacks that your child is able to open them self.  📚Thursday is World Book day. Mrs Williams has some fun activities planned for you in school. If you have a costume at home that you would like to wear then you are more than welcome to but please don’t go and buy something new.  ⚽️Monday will continue to be our PE day so you will need to wear your outdoor PE kits to school on a Monday.  🌳We will resume our Fresh Air Friday’s (not this week) and I will send a reminder out before we start them.  📚Reading books will continue to be sent home on a Thursday and need to be returned on a Monday to allow us time to leave them for 72 hours before sending them back out to another child. If you do not return your book on a Monday then unfortunately it will not be changed until the following week.  💻 Homework will be set on Google Classroom.  🏡 I know that you all love bringing in things for show and tell. Unfortunately we really need to minimise the amount of items that are passing between home and school so please avoid bringing in anything from home, this includes toys notebooks and teddies. I will put a special show and tell topic on Google Classroom so you can upload photographs of anything really special that you want to share with the class to there and we will do our best to have a look at them. We may not manage to do this everyday but we will try to do it once a week.
♥️♥️ We would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE well done to all of you that have worked so hard with your remote learning over the latest lockdown. We would also like to say a massive THANK YOU to all parents and caters who have worked so hard to support the children with their remote learning. We appreciate that it hasn’t always been easy but we really are so grateful for all of the support that you have show the children and for your cooperation with all tasks set ♥️♥️

We are really looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday!  Mrs Williams, Mrs Hughes, Mrs Ashcroft and Mrs McCaffrey
