Year 2: The week ahead

Pnawn da (apologies this is so late on a Sunday, I’ve been struggling to get messages to upload)! We hope you’ve had a lovely weekend.
We have another busy week this week. In numeracy we will be looking at odd and even numbers and then practising our multiplications. In literacy we will be continue with our newspaper reports and learning some rhymes to do with castles and knights. We will also be creating a fact page about castles. We will learn about using apostrophes for contraction at the end of the week as well as doing our reading and phonics daily.
Thursday is values day so we will be completing some activities to remind us all about the importance of our value ‘honesty’.
There are lots of ongoing independent learning tasks such as animation and coding, castle building and research.
Remember to wear your PE kits tomorrow and your old clothes for Fresh Air Friday at the end of the week. Reading books and homework need to be returned tomorrow please.
Looking forward to seeing you all!!
