Well this week has been incredibly busy! We have finished off our topic The Great Fire of London. We compared firefighting from 1666 to the present day. We also took part in our Heart Start activities which saw us role playing an emergency phone call.
To help us celebrate the event of Easter we have been learning about The Easter Story and we have made some cards with a cross symbol to help us remember the true meaning of Easter.
Also, this week we have worked incredibly hard on our Class Assembly. Thank you very much for all of your support with the assembly from helping the children to learn their lines to coming and cheering them on! They did amazing and we are very proud of them! We hope the children enjoy their easter treats!
After half term there will be NO MUDDY MONDAY as it is class photo day so the children need to be in their uniforms please.
Also, **TOP SECRET** to launch our new topic on Wednesday 19th the children can come to school dressed as princesses/queens/kings/knights/princes (please note party clothes are welcome too!) We will be participating in fun activities to help us launch our new topic. We have not told the children as we want it to be a surprise but we wanted to give you advance notice.
We hope you all have a lovely half term!
