Hello, this week I have sent home a handwriting sheet for the children to please complete at home. I would like the focus to be, starting at the correct place when forming letters. We have beautiful handwriting in the class, but we have noticed quite a few are starting their letters in the wrong place or forming them back to front. As the children progress through the school and learn joined up handwriting they will find it harder because their letters will not be starting or ending in the correct places for the joins to flow.
We would appreciate it if you could spare some time to complete this sheet please and then send it in as normal on Monday in the book bags.
