Year 2: Home learning update

Hello Year 2, This is your last home learning update before the half term holiday. Thank you for the work that you have done at the start of this week.
History (also on Google Classroom)- You should  by now have chosen a castle to focus on and have carried out some research. Keep going with your leaflet / factfile or PowerPoint.
Numeracy (also on Google Classroom) –this is a more challenging activity. Look at the numbers in the circles. Use them to create 2 multiplications and 2 divisions. Then comes the tricky part, write 2 divisions that are incorrect! Can you explain why they are incorrect?
Keep adding your videos to our flipgrid. I am really enjoying seeing you all 🙂
For your final task this week I want to completely come away from ICT. We will pick up with learning via Google Classroom again after half term but I want you to have a break from the screen as I know that a lot of our learning these last few weeks has been based on the computer/iPad.
I would like you to create a mood board. A mood board is basically a huge collage made up of photos, pictures from magazines, bits of material, leaves etc. It is a really personal thing and there is no right or wrong answer. I want your mood board to showcase you! Show me the things that you like to do, eat, play with etc. Include your family, pets and friends.  If you wanted to you could create a ‘lockdown’ themed mood board and just focus on what you have been doing in lockdown. This will be a really nice way of remembering this strange time and something for you to look back on when you are a grown up!
These are some ideas but remember there is no right or wrong. The most important thing is for you to have fun and get creative! image-14.jpgimage-15.jpgimage-16.jpg image-17.jpg
