Year 1: Weekly Overview

5ED635A9-C01A-45D2-9F84-562F5F3C774A.jpegWhat a busy first week back! We have spent a lot of time on our phonic sounds this week and we have tried really hard with our reading and writing sentences. We are getting much better at remembering capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.
We have also created a positive mindset display. We have all written something positive on our rainbows to remind us of how amazing we are!
Next week we will begin to explore dinosaurs more by looking at fossils. We will label a dinosaur and we are thinking of questions for what we would like to find out about dinosaurs. We will also be looking at tens and units in maths as we begin to explore bigger numbers.
Homework this week is to continue working on reading and writing your tricky words and reading your reading books.

Please remember book bags and Muddy Monday things on Monday.

Have a lovely weekend.
