Bore da and happy St David’s Day!
Today is our last day of online learning as tomorrow we get to come back to school. I hope you are all excited and we cannot wait to see you all again.
This week we are going to be completing various activities about St David’s Day. We will be making our own flags and learning how people celebrate St David’s Day. On Thursday, it is world book day so we will be having a day dedicated to stories and books! We will be listening to stories, making our own bookmarks, and becoming authors for the day.
I know you have already read the information about coming back to school but here are some small reminders for you to help us get back to school smoothly.
** Please come in clothes and shoes that are warm and comfy. Also, please make sure clothes are labelled with names where possible (especially jumpers/hoodies/cardigans) as when children take them off in class, we do not want them to get lost or mixed up.
**It’s World Book Day Thursday 4th March so we will be celebrating by doing lots of fun things about books. You don’t need to dress up in costumes for this day, your own clothes is fine. If you have a costume and do want to wear it that is fine too but again, please don’t feel you have to buy anything new.
** Please remember to send in a small snack for break time and label it clearly with your child’s name. Please try to ensure the children can open their snack on their own.
**Please send in your child’s water bottle, ready filled with water, to school each day. We will send them home daily for you to wash and return the following day.
We cannot wait to have you all back in class for lots of fun and laughter!
We look forward to seeing you all!
