This week we have enjoyed learning about time. We have been busy sorting activities out into second, minutes and hours. This morning for maths we had to estimate how many times we could complete a set challenge in a minute and then do it too. For example, how many star jumps could we do in 1 minute! We were very tired.
We have spent a lot of time on Noah’s Ark this week. We have all completed an ICT challenge on hwb where we have painted Noah’s Ark. We also got the chance to go through our books to find the work we are most proud of. It was lovely for the children to see how far they have come!
As next week is Olympic Week could the children please come to school dressed in PE kits all week. This does mean unfortunately there will be NO Muddy Monday. Our country for Olympic Week is Mexico and so we look forward to learning all about it. We are going to be learning some Spanish, we are going to learn a Mexican hat dance and we hope to try Mexican foods too! (I will send more information regarding this next week).
Could I please remind you to still send in book bags on Monday please.
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss Hughes and Mrs Williams.
