This week we have spent time revisiting 2d shapes. We have been on a hunt for 2d shapes around our classroom and we kept a tally chart to record the shapes we found.
We have written some lovely dinosaur stories and worked hard to remember our capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. The dinosaurs were having a fantastic time on their adventures!
We have made dinosaur skeletons in art using paper straws and they have turned out fantastic, they are proudly on display on our washing line.
Next week we are going to be looking at 3d shapes in maths and we will use our Muddy Monday time to explore for 3d shapes in the outdoors! We will also be looking at healthy and unhealthy foods and planning a healthy plate for Danny the Dinosaur to eat.
Please remember book bags on Monday and to come dressed appropriately for Muddy Monday too.
Have a lovely weekend
