Year 1: School Trip and Weekly round up

What a fantastic time we have had at the Seaquarium! 🐟🐠🐡🦭🦈
The children have seen lots of amazing sea creatures. We first had a touch pool experience where we got to hold a real lobster claw! 🦞 We also got to touch a sea anemone which felt a bit like jelly and had a look at a huge starfish. Afterwards, we enjoyed looking around the Aquarium and seeing all the different fish and sea life. There were some really big and colourful fish. After lunch we were treated to an amazing Seal show! We learnt all about their habitats, what they eat as well as seeing them do some amazing jumps and flips out of the water. We finished off our trip with a quick go on the beach to find some shells.
The children have had a brilliant time, there are big smiles all round! 😁 Their behaviour has been exceptional, they’ve done us all proud. I am also pleased to report that as a result of our brill behaviour, we have earnt our final marble in the jar treat which we will enjoy next Tuesday. Our treat will consist of a ‘Glow sticks disco’ in the morning followed by a Movie and popcorn afternoon. Children can come dressed in party outfits / own clothes for this treat. Well done Year 1, you really deserve it!

Also next week we will be having our Year 6 Leavers Assembly on Wednesday afternoon as well as our Break the Rules day on Thursday. We will enjoy some party games and finish off the week at Tree Top Thursday. Hopefully the weather will be kind!
I will post pictures of our wonderful trip to the website as soon as I can after arrival back at school.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! See you all for our final week on Monday.
