Reception: Weekly round up!

We have had another fabulous week, to end this half term in Reception. 🤩🤩🤩 We are so proud of you all trying your best everyday.
The highlight has been pretending to be very hungry caterpillars and sampling lots of different foods. We loved all the different fruits and some of us even tried some more unusual things like pickles and salad leaves! I think our favourite was probably the chocolate cake!! 🍐🍓🍏🍭🐛
We had fun in Welly Wednesday, making wind spinners and planting vegetable seeds, ready to harvest in the Autumn. We planted carrots, onions, leeks and broccoli.
Today, we learnt all about our school value of Honesty. We are bringing home some colourful fish from the story of Tiddler to help us remember to be honest.
After half term we will be enjoying lots of fun summer activities as we savour our last few weeks in Reception Class! We will be learning all about the season of Summer and Under The Sea. We also can’t wait to have a fun week of Olympic activities and do lots of different sporting events.

We hope your all have a wonderful week for half term and the sun shines for you to have lots of fun outside.

I will be keeping a close eye on our caterpillars as they have now turned into cocoons!!! We are so excited. We hope they don’t hatch until we are back in school. 🤞🤞

Keep smiling and having fun.
