Da iawn Reception for a fantastic week in Reception. We have loved learning and playing with you this week.
We enjoyed the story of ‘A Cold, Dark Night’ and meeting the different animals looking for a home in the Autumn. We especially liked Ned the little draenog (hedgehog). #Ambitious, capable learners.
We have had fun making hedgehog bread rolls. They looked just like a little prickly hedgehogs and tasted yummy too! #Healthy, confident individuals. We also made some hedgehog leaf collages!
In maths we looked at patterns and made some pasta necklaces and Autumn patterns.
#enterprising, creative contributors.
We have enjoyed learning a song called Autumn Leaves are falling down and performing with actions!
Next week, we will be thinking all about Harvest Time. 🌽🥔🥕We will read the story ‘Pumpkin Soup’ and look at lots of different foods that grow. We will be thinking about thanking God for all our food. We can’t wait to visit the special Prayer Stations in our hall on Thursday and celebrate our School Values Day of Thankfulness next Friday. We will be helping to make some Harvest vegetable soup too!
We will look at 2D shapes in maths and make some Shape scarecrows.
Its going to be another busy week and we just can’t wait!
Have a great weekend everyone, we will see you on Monday.
