Reception: Values Day/weekly round up!

It’s been another great week in Reception! The sun has been shining and we have been busy bees learning with our friends.
Following our Royal Visit, we have made some abstract art based on the Queens portrait. They look really fantastic!
For our school values day, we heard the story of The Empty Pot, about a little boy who tried to grow flowers for the Emperor but failed. However, he was still honest to say his seeds didn’t grow and was rewarded by becoming Emperor.
We planted some pretty flower seeds and will  watch them grow to remind us to always try and be honest. #ethical, informed citizens.
Next week, is going to be lots and fun as we continue with our Jubilee theme. We will paint some special jubilee stones in Welly Weds.
We have a party to plan and cakes to bake, ready for our Jubilee party with Nursery on Thursday.
On this day, children are invited to come to school dressed in their Royal party clothes/ own clothes – see seperate post.

On Friday, we will then dress in red, white and blue for a school Jubilee celebration. We just can’t wait!
Have a lovely weekend all, we will see you on Monday 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
