As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, we have enjoyed a glorious afternoon on the fresh air. From listening to the birds, to feeling the squishy mud and the crunchy leaves and looking for bulbs popping up out of the ground, we have loved exploring all that nature had to offer us.🌿🍁🌷🌼🌳🐦
We talked about how being outside in the fresh air makes us all feel refreshed. We always look forward to this time with our friends in our school garden, making connections with them and the nature we see.
Children aged under 5 are said to need at least 3 hours of physical/outdoor play a day, as it benefits their development so much!!
