The countdown to Christmas has definitely begun! We have been learning about the Christmas story and have been using puppets to help us. We are enjoying opening our class Advent calendar and love learning through play in the different areas that have been set up. We not only helped to decorate the beautiful Christmas tree in the foyer but also the Christmas tree in Nursery, we have pretend presents under the tree that we can give to our friends, puppets and a Nativity scene, Christmas stories in the book nook, festive coloured pompoms to count out and match to the correct number, we can build Christmas trees with blocks to decorate with tinsel, post letters to Santa in our class letterbox, and can decorate Christmas trees with coloured stones and pieces of tinsel in number order! We are even going to be having an elves workshop!
We have a very busy concert week next week and are excited to be having a fun filled last few days of term.
