Nursery: weekly round up!

As the end of term is fast approaching, we are having lots of fun for our last few days.
We have been enjoying lots of singing and dancing and playing percussion instruments to favourite nursery rhymes and a new song we have been singing this week, ‘We all live in a yellow submarine!’🌊. We’ re getting very good playing to the beat of the music. Also, in keeping with our topic ‘Under the sea’, we loved doing dough disco to ‘Under the sea’ from the Little Mermaid🧜‍♀️.

We have done lots of maths activities such as: practicing numbers and counting by rolling a giant dice to each other, playing ‘I spy counting’ with sea creatures and writing how many and making playdough numbers.

Welly Wednesday proved to be very muddy so we had lots of fun digging, exploring and making mud soup and pies in the kitchen!
For our final week we will be having lots of fun with our friends before we break up for the summer holidays😎.

Have a fantastic weekend,
Mrs Golby, Mrs McCaffrey and Mrs Edwards😄
