Nursery: This Week

We have been busy this week learning all about ‘Why we wear poppies and Remembrance Day.
We have made our own poppies to wear along with a poem to help us remember why we are wearing them. We painted and coloured poppies and made our own Remembrance garden at the Forest school on Welly Wednesday.
We read the story Where the Poppies Now Grow, about Ben and his friend Ray. Mrs Jones showed us her Taids medals from WW1. We listened to a special assembly all about Poppy Day and took part in the 2 minute silence and we visited the Thankfulness Prayer stations in the hall.

This week we have brought home our school bag with a book for us to enjoy, please return them to school on Thursdays so we can change them.
