News: Update

Good morning, I hope that you are all keeping safe and well.  I am sure that you have seen the BBC news report in which the Education Minister, Kirtsy Williams said that online learning must continue to at least the 29th of January.  At this point, it will be reviewed in line with the Welsh 3 week review timetable.  Provision will still be made for key worker children if there is no other alternative childcare available within the family setting.  All staff would like to say a big thank you to parents and carers for their support this week with Google Classroom.  We really appreciate all the hard work that has gone into remote learning.  I have seen work from all classes this week and it is clear that pupils are working very hard and enjoying activities.  It is crucial that all pupils regularly engage with online activities.  The Welsh Government have made it clear in their guidance that there should be regular, active engagement between learners and schools.  Staff will continue to set daily work on Google Classroom.  These tasks will build on prior learning, therefore it will be beneficial for pupils to complete these in the order set. Thank you again for all your support.  If you have any problems accessing work, please contact school. Mrs Hodkinson
