News: Learning about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing

We are continuing to learn in school about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing promoted by our local health board and many other agencies.  They are Be Mindful, Be Active, Be Generous, Be Interested and Be Connected -spelling out MAGIC!
This half term we are focussing on ‘Be Interested’ – trying out new things and always learning. Each half term we have had a special assembly to introduce one of the ways to wellbeing. Some of year 5 and 6 helped with ‘Be Interested’ showing the rest of the school some of their hobbies and skills and things they enjoyed learning. We were impressed with Gleb’s piano skills, Katie’s gymnastics, Alfie’s rubiks cube ability and Ruben’s history knowledge!
Today Hulanation have been in so that every child from Reception to year 6 has had a chance to try out hoolahooping and try out some hooplahooping tricks. It was fantastic fun and was certainly good for our wellbeing!
